The girls and I had a great time this weekend, we went on another Boonie Stomp, this time it was Tarzan Falls, it was more difficult than last week much steeper and less of a trail path, some times no path at all, & very muddy - but what a site at the end!! Well not exactly the end…..

So a Boonie Stomp is pretty much a big group hike, eh? And these are regularly held by the Navy MWR people or something? Looks like fun, keep the photos coming.

Boonie Stomp is the term they use here to describe a hike. Boonie is used to describe things in Guam that are tired and rundown - boonie car, boonie dog, boonie house or to say you live in the boonies means you live away from everything, things like water and electricity stop working on a weekly sometimes daily basis and people who live in the boonies are the last people to get these services restored. The people we have been boonie stomping with is run be the Dept. of Parks & Recreation and they charge $1 per person.
